Business Mission 2017
ALBC lead a business delegation of eight American companies to Lithuania to meet with top political leaders on March 1-2, 2017. The delegation held plenary sessions with the Prime Minister, Presidential Advisors, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Economy, and Members of Seimas.
During the ALBC Mission, ALBC, the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation, and the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius were proud to organize the first Lithuanian-American Innovation Award Ceremony at the Office of the Prime Minister to honor the prize winners and top finalists for their significant contribution to the Lithuanian economy. The awards were introduced by U.S. Ambassador to Lithuania Anne Hall, BAFF Representative Laura Lyons, and ALBC President Eric Stewart. First prize award was presented by the Chancellor of the Government Milda Dargužaitė and second place prizes were awarded by Minister of Economy Mindaugas Sinkevičius.
ALBC also cohosted the first ever Lithuanian-American Defense Forum with our friends from the National Defense Industry Association (NPGA), which featured presentations from the Ministry of National Defense and four American defense firms, General Dynamics, Oshkosh Defense, Orbital ATK, and Textron Systems.
